SCATT-Based Performance Analytics in Precision Shooting

Conducted applied research on electronic performance analysis systems, with a focus on SCATT-based training analytics for precision rifle shooting. The SCATT system captures real-time aiming trace data, enabling detailed analysis of shooter stability and consistency.

The research analyzed key performance variables including:

  • Postural stability and biomechanical alignment
  • Micro-movement control during aiming phases
  • Shot consistency across training sessions
  • Structured technical evaluation methodologies
  • Aiming trace behavior and stability patterns

The findings were integrated into a practical performance stabilization model applicable to competitive shooting environments, bridging the gap between academic research and real-world athletic performance.

INNOVATIONPerformance Equipment Development

Stabilization-Based Shooting Inner Garment

Leveraging academic training in apparel engineering (BSc in Apparel Manufacture & Technology) and the SCATT-based research findings, Shovon developed an innovative stabilization-based high-performance shooting inner garment.

Postural Alignment

Designed to enhance biomechanical stability during competitive shooting

Micro-Movement Reduction

Reduces involuntary micro-movements during aiming phases

International Adoption

Independently adopted by competitive shooters across multiple countries

Coach Evaluated

Evaluated by international coaches and elite-level athletes

The innovation represents a rare integration of elite athletic expertise with sport-specific equipment technology — developed through applied research and technical apparel engineering, then validated through athlete-level pilot implementation.

A Unique Intersection

Shovon's work sits at a rare intersection: an active international-level competitive shooter who also holds formal qualifications in both apparel technology and business management. This combination enabled him to identify performance gaps through first-hand competition experience, validate them through SCATT-based electronic analysis, and then engineer a tangible equipment solution grounded in textile science — a research-to-product pipeline rarely seen in shooting sports.
